Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Construction Defect Claim
Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage medium to high exposure accounts, including claim resolution
strategy and communication with customers and business partners
Analyze complex policies and coverage parts, develop coverage and
liability assessments, and pursue risk transfer against other
parties and insurance carriers
Conduct investigations, manage litigation and counsel, and attend
mediations and trials as necessary
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, J.D. or CRIS designation is a plus
3+ years of general liability claim handling experience, with a
preference for construction defect claim handling experience
Experience in handling affirmative/defensive risk transfer
Active Property & Casualty State Insurance Adjuster license
preferred
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word and Excel
