Job Description:

Our Client a National commercial real estate company is looking to hire a Construction Development Coordinator. This is a hybrid position located in Jericho, NY. Responsibilities: Understanding construction terminology and documents Reviewing construction documents for accuracy and compliance Reviewing/approving Job Cost budgets/budget changes; Checking for proper back up, coding and approvals Reviewing contracts/change orders to confirm within budget, properly coded and have proper approvals Reviewing/interpreting lease documents for payment of approval of Tenant Allowance reimbursement (understanding the difference between tenant improvements, tenant inducements, and LL work) Reviewing/approving invoices in NEXUS for coding, and all required documents to assure that payments are made within approved budgets (i.e., lien waivers, sub logs, etc.) Preparing monthly Construction Management Fee invoices Compiling documents requested by internal/external auditorsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years experience in a similar role Background in construction and/or retail commercial real estate is a plus Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and OutlookIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
