  • Know their content and get things doneMinimum Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
    • New Jersey Department of Education Supervisor Certificate, OR Standard Principal Certificate
    • Certificate in Supervisor (0106) OR Principal Standard (0200)
    • Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in teaching the related content area or related experienceResponsibilities:
      • Facilitates the growth and development of teachers working collaboratively with peers
      • Assists teachers in curriculum alignment, articulation, integration, and implementation across grade levels
      • Teaches demonstration lessons and serves as a peer coach and mentor
      • Provides professional development opportunities for teachers
      • Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for curriculum, assessment, and instruction
      • Participates in ongoing professional development
      • Analyzes student assessment data and makes program recommendations
      • Provides reports on program initiatives
      • Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal
      • Monitors implementation of district-approved content programs
