- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- New Jersey Department of Education Supervisor Certificate, OR
Standard Principal Certificate
- Certificate in Supervisor (0106) OR Principal Standard
(0200)
- Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in teaching
the related content area or related experienceResponsibilities:
- Facilitates the growth and development of teachers working
collaboratively with peers
- Assists teachers in curriculum alignment, articulation,
integration, and implementation across grade levels
- Teaches demonstration lessons and serves as a peer coach and
mentor
- Provides professional development opportunities for
teachers
- Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for
curriculum, assessment, and instruction
- Participates in ongoing professional development
- Analyzes student assessment data and makes program
recommendations
- Provides reports on program initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal
- Monitors implementation of district-approved content
programs
- Attends in-service workshops and utilizes technological
resources effectivelyReporting and Compensation:Reports to:
PrincipalSalary Range: $92,000 - $128,000Employment Period: Eleven
