The Company A Lifestyle Management / Concierge company founded 20 years ago, with offices in NY, LA and London. We look after a huge variety of requests for our members from the day to day, to travel, events, domestic staff recruitment, research etc . Under 200 families, all UHNW. www.somersetwhite.com . The Role The role of the Lifestyle Assistant is to help support the client team in providing well executed and timely responses to client requests both in and out of the office. In addition to this, the Lifestyle Assistant (LA) will be required to assist with some general office duties and administration. A typical day varies hugely but work may include: - Carrying out errands such as shopping, purchasing gifts, delivering flowers, supervising contractors etc. - Paying invoices and client's household staff - Sourcing tickets for sold out events - Making restaurant reservations and booking appointments for clients - ie doctors and specialists and researching the best options - Collating gift suggestions and wrapping presents to suit a particular budget and client - Travel research, bookings and itineraries - Contributing to our quarterly cultural What's On document (theatre, art, music etc) - Assisting with general office duties such as answering phones, delivering post, ordering stationery and maintaining the tidiness of the office as a whole. Skills and Experience - Work experience in travel / hotels / events a plus - A Bachelor's Degree - Second language a plus; French, Spanish - An understanding of the service levels required and a strong eye for detail and work ethic - Good knowledge of and an interest in NYC; culture, restaurants, hotels etc. - Ability to work effectively in a team and strong communication skills - An extremely proactive and positive manner Start Date ASAP. Salary DOE from $55,000 plus 15% bonus, 15 PTO, 5 paid sick days, 8 Federal Holidays. Health & Dental insurance after 3 months.
