KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) is seeking talented, certified
individuals to join the New York markets fastest-growing Special
Inspection agency! KSEs Special Inspections and Material Testing
Department needs certified field inspectors for public building and
infrastructure projects in the New York market. This is an exciting
opportunity to participate, in a hands-on way, in assuring that
construction practices and construction materials meet the design
requirements and building codes for the structural integrity and
life safety of those projects.Construction Management Field
CoordinatorReports to: Manager Special InspectionsTechnical
Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate all
inspectors in the field covering inspections on multiple
construction operations throughout the construction site on a
day-to-day basis.Monitoring construction operations and personnel
as required by the project and client to determine project
schedules.Organization of daily field reports, communication of
deficiencies observed in the field to project managers,
contractors, and /or client representatives, and the interpretation
of project related drawings and documents.Possesses strong
supervisory and technical skills, effective time-management skills,
strong computer skills, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal
communication skills.Responsive to Client and other KSE Manager/
needs, and all other duties as assigned.Communicate with all
departments involved in order to guarantee efficient execution of
projects. Provide technical support throughout the company and
solutions as needed. Maintain pertinent engineering documents for
projectsEnsure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory
and corporate standards as it relates to projects. Investigate and
identify root causes of any non-compliance.Physical
Responsibilities:
Move around on the jobsite, including
ascending or descending on the landscape or on a ladder, and
positioning oneself appropriately to assess necessary testing
materials and equipment, usually for prolonged periods of
time.Educational Requirements
HS Degree or EquivalentEngineering
Degree Preferred but not required Familiarity with Construction
Operations Familiarity with Chapter 17 of the IBC Professional
Development:
Willing to pursue professional
