Our Customer Service/BDC Representatives earn a salary PLUS commissions with many opportunities for advancement!!!

Millennium Chevrolet, a brand new facility of the the Atlantic Automotive Group, is looking for a dynamic telemarketer to join their team. Here is great opporotunity for you advance your career at this state of the art, beautiful facility.

The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative is the first person our customers speak to in our Internet and phone customers. BDC Representatives are responsible for handling incoming phone calls and internet requests as well as scheduling appointments. We are looking for candidates who have a professional voice and are sympathetic to the customer's needs. This is a great career opportunity for applicants with automotive experience, or any other customer service/telephone contact experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering all incoming calls to the department and scheduling appointments
  • Answering all internet inquiries to facilitate appointments into the dealership
  • Making phone calls to customers after visiting the showroom to find out about their experience
  • Making outbound calls to our current customers to remind them of lease termination or equity positions in retail vehicles

Requirements:

  • Basic phone & computer skills
  • Must have a clear, articulate and pleasant speaking voice
  • Must be a genuine people person
  • Customer service and/or telephone contact experience
  • Must be dependable reporting to work every day on time.
  • Must be friendly and upbeat and like talking on the phone helping people find answers to their questions.
  • Ability to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Excellent written and oral bi-lingual communication skills a plus.
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Dependable and compliant in following assigned work schedule which will include evening and Saturday hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
  • Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services via phone, email, text or chat.
  • Maintains accurate sales documentation
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Helps educate/train new staff members
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and others
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a "people person" but still know how to control the conversation
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
  • Previous customer service experience a plus (any industry)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
