At Fidelity Investments, a leader in financial services, we are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our IT & Data Management team in Boston, MA. This role demands a visionary expert in software development, poised to deliver intricate solutions supporting our expansive product offerings and enhancing our customer investment experience. As a pivotal figure in project leadership and technical strategy execution, you'll manage complex projects, mentor engineers, and enhance system efficiency while ensuring alignment with our financial and technological goals. Lead complex software development projects enhancing Fidelity's investment platforms Contribute to the strategic planning of technical roadmaps, ensuring the alignment with business needs and industry trends Mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices in software development and code integrity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are robust, scalable, and secure Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Expertise in multiple programming languages (Java, Python, C++) Strong background in developing large-scale financial systems Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker) Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Scrum Master (CSM) AWS Certified Solutions Architect Oracle Certified Java Programmer
