Job Description Job Description Description: Now Hiring: Expo / Packer – Little Ruby’s Café (West Village) Location: West Village, New York, NY Pay: $20/hour Required Availability: Monday mornings Tuesday mornings Saturday & Sunday nights Little Ruby’s Café is a fast-paced, high-volume café known for quality food, efficient takeout, and warm hospitality. Our West Village location is seeking a detail-oriented Expo / Packer to support our takeout and kitchen operations. This role is essential to ensuring accuracy, speed, and quality for all takeout and delivery orders. What You’ll Do Expedite and pack takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently Read and manage tickets using Toast KDS screens Ensure orders are complete, properly packaged, and presented to standard Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams Prepare smoothies, drip coffee, and iced coffee as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo and packing stations Support service flow during high-volume periods What We’re Looking For Prior experience in a high-volume takeout establishment Experience making smoothies, drip coffee, and iced coffee Experience using Toast KDS screens Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy service times Reliable and punctual with required availability What We Offer $20/hour Consistent scheduling aligned with required availability Employee dining perks Supportive, fast-paced team environment Opportunity to grow within the Little Ruby’s Café group If you’re organized, fast, and thrive in a high-volume takeout environment, we’d love to meet you.
