Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Hackensack, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Cat Scan Technologist - Job Description The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation, and assists with interventional and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities - Performs complex CT procedures and ensures patient clinical history is documented. - Prepares and reviews contrast questionnaires, administering contrast media as prescribed. - Verifies prescription appropriateness and communicates with radiologists and physicians as needed. - Responsible for obtaining outside studies and ensuring they are available for comparison. - Provides exam copies to patients and communicates effectively regarding procedures. - Monitors patient conditions for adverse reactions during procedures. - Adheres to established guidelines for venipuncture and IV maintenance. - Participates in on-call assignments per department policies and works scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning is essential. - ARRT (CT) certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire. - American Heart Association BLS certification is required within three months of hire. - NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License is mandatory. - A graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program is required. Schedule This position follows an evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, scheduled for five 8-hour shifts, with every third weekend required. Holidays as needed. Why ARMStaffing?
