Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant to join our team. This
role involves supporting our physical therapists and patients,
enhancing our rehabilitation services and patient care in line with
our commitment to high-quality therapeutic outcomes. The ideal
candidate will assist in daily operations of the physical therapy
space, maintain equipment, prepare treatment areas, and provide
direct support to patients under the supervision of licensed
therapists. Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas for daily
use. Assist physical therapists in managing patient exercises and
treatment plans. Record patient responses and progress, updating
electronic health records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of
the physical therapy area. Provide direct support to patients,
including assistance with mobility and transfers. Knowledge of
physical therapy principles and practices Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to handle physical demands of the job,
such as moving or lifting patients Proficient in the use of therapy
equipment and patient management software Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Physical Therapy Aide (CPTA)
preferred. BLS/CPR certification required.
