Occupational Therapist Opportunity Waterbury, CT An educational facility in Waterbury, CT is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students' developmental and functional needs. This role involves providing direct therapy services within a school environment and requires travel to multiple school sites as part of the job responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Assess students physical, developmental, and functional abilities to create individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions designed to improve students participation in school activities. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop goal-oriented programs. Document student progress, update therapy goals, and maintain compliance with educational and therapeutic standards. Travel between school locations within the district to provide services as needed. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience working in a school-based setting preferred. Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational interventions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently. Willingness to travel between various school locations.
