We are seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible Urologist for a locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 19, 2026, for 88 days. This role features a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with 24-hour call responsibilities, including both weekday and weekend coverage. Candidates must have an active NY license and be open to a credentialing process that may require up to six weeks, though an earlier start is possible. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Jan 19, 2026 LOA: 88 days Provider Type Needed: Urologist Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (specific days and times to be confirmed); 24-hour call shifts from 7pm to 7pm, including weekdays and weekends Responsibilities and Duties Round on admitted urology patients across various hospital settings Provide on-call coverage in the Emergency Department, hospitalist service, surgical units, and ICU Respond to urgent urological consults as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information Must possess an active New York medical license Board certification or true board eligibility in Urology required BLS and ACLS certifications required (may consider candidates willing to obtain the missing certification prior to the start date) Candidates must be comfortable with 24-hour call responsibilities Credentialing process may take up to six weeks, but earlier start dates will be considered if possible Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
