Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: New Brunswick, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $3,016 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – New Jersey Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, on-call approximately 32 hours per month (including one weekend per month with 24-hour call both days). No block scheduling. May float to Main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled. Highlights: Scrub and circulate for open heart adult surgery including CABG, valve replacements (aortic, mitral, and pulmonic), and TAVR procedures Work with advanced cardiac devices including Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and laser lead extractions Exposure to complex cardiovascular cases in a collaborative surgical environment Hospital-provided scrubs Local candidates accepted; first-time travelers considered with preference for experienced travelers Flexibility to work within your skillset, with opportunities in Main OR as needed Requirements: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of submission Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred Scrub experience with open CVOR cases and TAVR required Knowledge and experience with cardiac devices: Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, laser lead extractions Experience with both adult and geriatric patient populations Charge experience preferred Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays during assignment period Completion of approximately 18 hours of non-billable orientation modules prior to start Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with a full spectrum of advanced cardiovascular procedures in a dynamic surgical setting.
