Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of one year of operating room experience with cardiac procedures License: Current state RN license Certifications: Current BLS certification with the American Heart Association Must-Have: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Description: The High-Tech Hybrid Cardiac Operating Room includes six new rooms equipped with the latest technological tools and a new post-anesthesia care unit. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. A current state RN license is required. Current BLS certification with the American Heart Association is mandatory. At least one year of operating room experience with cardiac procedures is essential. Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience. Experience in a travel role is required. The role requires proficiency in charting systems, specifically Epic. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The patient age group is adults. The position involves working with patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. Specific skills required include administration of blood products, coronary artery bypass grafting, and managing intra-aortic balloon pumps. Additional skills such as starting peripheral IVs and working with various cardiac devices are beneficial. All nursing positions require the state license to be in hand at the time of application. This position is open to local candidates within a defined radius. Travelers must submit two supervisory clinical references upon application.
