Full-time Quality Control Reference Technologist needed in New York!(Reference Code: KAM) Join one of the most comprehensive blood centers in the world! In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the monthly requirements and testing for Quality Control as per FDA for products collected and distributed. The testing of apheresis products for Bacterial detection to ensure patient safety and also qualifying apheresis products for Pathogen Inactivation. We currently operate a Sysmex XE-2100D, BacT Alert 3D, Accumet pH meter and other manual tests. You will also be responsible for maintaining the lab in a safe and clean environment. Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science field* NYS DOH License as a Clinical Lab Technologist; 2-3 years of laboratory experience; ASCP Certification preferred* Ability to work alone and unsupervised; Knowledge and understanding of immunohematology, hematology and medical terminology Offering competitive compensation and complete benefits!For more information, please submit your resume for review.
