Job Description:
ISGF is currently seeking a Government Contract Manager for one
of our favorite clients located in Hempstead, NY! ISGF has
repeatedly been ranked as Best Places to Work by Inc Magazine,

talent to some of the Nation's leading companies.Responsibilities
of the Government Contract Manager: * Reviews all awards for
critical safety items, FAR's and any other new requirements* Direct
liaison with the Government QAR (visits and issues)* Monitor PPIRS
work to improve score* Keeping open communication with the DLA post
award side* Daily review of new awards, and lost business making
notations to see how we can capture the business on the next open
buy.* Daily review of new solicitations and potential bids with
Account Executives to maximize profitability.* Action daily
reports, monitors monthly shipments for delinquency, and account
executive bid report on a weekly basisJob Requirements:* 5+ years
of government contracts management* Previous management experience
- delegating responsibility, mentoring, conducting performance
evaluations / pay-reviews reviews.* Working knowledge of the DLA /
government procurement, understanding of FAR & DFARs* Working
knowledge of the DLA / DoD Procurement* Ability to work in a team
environment as well as independently* Ability to read and
understand technical drawings* Excellent sense of customer service*
