analyzes and evaluates risks in order to renew existing business or
generate new accounts. Determines appropriate terms and conditions
for coverages and rates for program profitability. Contributes to
the profitable growth of specific program(s) by maintaining pricing
integrity, product excellence, and the development of meaningful
performance metrics and controls.USA Job Function
Description:Manages risk (i.e., selection/rejection of new and
renewal business). Analyzes quality and quantity of risks
underwritten and prepares reports accordingly. Administers and
monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules,
laws and regulations. May review books of business as well as
profit/growth results and trends to recommend and implement action
plans.Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:Handles
day-to-day management of model portfolios, which includes portfolio
construction, analyzing model characteristics, supervising the
model release process, and resolving associated issues.Test
covenants for DSCR, DY and Earnout.Develops, monitors and
communicates performance, risk, positioning, and rebalance metrics
to ensure alignment with the Portfolio Managers investment thesis
and process.Performs investment analysis projects in conjunction
with the Portfolio Managers and research staff to continuously
refine and improve the investment methodology and associated
policies.Monitors re-allocations and operational processes by
working closely with portfolio services, data strategy &
management, product development, and the distribution.Develops
hypothetical portfolios and ad-hoc analysis for prospective plan
sponsors.Runs periodic and ad hoc updates to portfolio construction
and attribution models, analyzing sensitivities and risks to key
assumptions, and presenting this information to the team.Monitors
portfolio positioning relative to market developments and building
tools needed to do so systematically and efficiently.Initiates
portfolio management discussions as and when needed, including
providing clear analysis and presentation of relevant information
both in writing and orally.Participates in portfolio management
discussions and documenting decisions made, key inputs to those
decisions, and conditions under which decisions require
review.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an

equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, Economics,
Accounting or other equivalent field. (Req) -Work
Experience:Experience in commercial real estate credit structuring,
underwriting and portfolio management, 5-9 yearsSkills and
Abilities:Underwriting and portfolio management experience.Ability
to timely comply covenant testing / compute Earnout amount required
per legal documents based on interim financials provided.Ability to
review and understand legal documents and work with legal counsel
to determine and exercise appropriate legal actions and follow
up.Solid MS Word and Excel skills.Organized and
self-sufficient.Strong quantitative reasoning and writing
skills.Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups or managers, members, and general
public.Excellent member service skills.Detail oriented, common
sense decision-making; above average oral, written and
communications skills.Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to work with
mathematical concepts, such as profitability and statistical
inference.Ability to apply concepts, such as fractions,
percentages, ratios and proportions, to practical
