or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in
technical program management, leading projects. 10 years of
experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure or outside
plant design and construction. Preferred qualifications: Experience
in financial management (e.g., project budgeting and cost-benefit
analysis). Understanding of fiber optic network design and
interfacility connections. Ability to manage multiple priorities in

Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical
expertise to lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.
You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks,
manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with
cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally
comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to
executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product
development with engineers. As a Lead Technical Program Manager,
you will drive the execution and global delivery of Google's
critical network infrastructure. You will support and assist a team
of Technical Program Managers to acquire and deploy dark fiber and
leased capacity, ensuring the continued expansion and reliability
of long-haul and metro networks. You will act as a key
organizational leader, defining program health through metrics and
innovating engineering processes that enhance capacity delivery
across all global regions.The AI and Infrastructure team is

and much more. The US base salary range for this full-time position
is $240,000-$334,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Deliver technical and engineering support to a
global team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) specialized in the
delivery of dark fiber and leased capacity from third-party network
providers servicing Google's long-haul and metro networks. Drive
program health by defining key performance metrics, monitoring for
deviations, and implementing corrective actions to ensure global
connectivity goals are met. Evaluate and recommend policies and
procedures of network operations, including Bulk Fiber deployments,
IP Outside-of-Band (IPOOB) infrastructure, and the management of
cross-connections and disconnections. Enhance engineering processes
to improve the efficiency and reliability of capacity delivery
across geographic regions.
