Job Description Job Description Description: Position Summary Tikra Roofing is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining the long-term integrity of our commercial roofing systems through inspections, repairs, leak detection, and maintenance work. The ideal candidate has hands-on roofing experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. Regular travel and independent fieldwork are expected. Key Responsibilities Service & Repair Execution: Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and coatings. Conduct emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance with minimal disruption to client operations. Leak Investigations & Reporting: Identify and document leak sources with supporting photos and detailed service reports. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the service manager and clients. Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is completed following OSHA regulations and Tikra safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site. Proper use of PPE is required at all times. Customer Interaction: Serve as the face of Tikra Roofing during service calls. Maintain a professional demeanor and build trust with clients. Answer basic client questions about roofing systems, ongoing maintenance, and future recommendations. Material & Equipment Handling: Coordinate with service coordinator for required materials and supplies before arriving at job sites. Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and secured. Documentation & Reporting: Complete daily logs, service tickets, photo documentation, and timesheets through Tikra Roofing’s project management system (e.g., JobTread). Travel Flexibility: Must be willing to travel to job sites across Texas and surrounding states. Overnight travel is common based on project location. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Wage (based on experience) Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Fuel card and paid travel expenses Per diem for overnight stays Paid time off Opportunity for advancement Requirements: Preferred Traits & Qualifications 3 years of commercial roofing experience preferred Knowledge of multiple systems (single-ply, BUR, metal, coatings, etc.) Ability to work independently and diagnose problems with minimal supervision Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Comfortable using mobile apps for reporting and project documentation
