Job Description:

A company is looking for a Sr. Engineering Lead (Back-end and Infrastructure).
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and advocating for engineering best practices
Evaluate and implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, priorities, deliverables, and quality assurance

Required Qualifications:

Annual company-wide retreats and quarterly department-wide meet-ups
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
8+ years of experience in back-end development and infrastructure, including at least 4 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge and experience with back-end technologies and frameworks, such as PHP, Java, Node.js, or similar
Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Solid understanding of database systems, API development, and system architecture
