Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Follows established processes to create and test product assemblies during Engineering development of Zebra mobile computing and barcode scanning products.
• Works from written and verbal descriptions/defined test plans to perform testing, evaluation and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on product assemblies and hardware
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems and protocols for existing and emerging technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, TRP, TIS, MIMO,4G/5G.
• Develop protocol testing for 5G wireless communications of the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) standards in Zebra mobile computer products.Perform testing perrequirements detailed in test plan for wireless standards and test proceduresin a laboratory environment in accordance with ETSI/FCC and EMC/EMItests for Emissions and Susceptibility.Works on analysis of processes anddelivers results to necessary stakeholders.
  • Assists product development engineers in the diagnosis and replication of product failures. Analyzes test results and makes recommendations.Qualifications:o Education: Bachelor's degree inan appropriate engineering discipline required or 2+ years' WorkExperience
    • Key Skills and Competencies:
      • Knowledge of lab equipment such as Spectrum/Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators...
      • Ability to read and follow schematics
