  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • New Jersey Department of Education Certificate in Supervisor (0106)
  • Minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience in the related content area or related experienceBasic Functions and Responsibilities
    • Facilitates growth and development of teachers collaboratively
    • Assists teachers with curriculum alignment, articulation, integration, and implementation
    • Teaches demonstration lessons and mentors staff
    • Provides opportunities for teachers to develop instructional techniques and professional behaviors
    • Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards
    • Participates in ongoing professional development
    • Analyzes student assessment data to inform program decisions
    • Provides reports on program progress
    • Performs duties as assigned by the Principal
    • Monitors implementation of district content programs
    • Attends in-service workshops
    • Supports the use of technological tools and materials
    • Performs other tasks as assignedReports To: PrincipalSalary, Employment Period, and Union
      • Salary Range: $92,000 - $128,000
      • Employment Period: 11 months
