Job DescriptionHKSB currently has an exciting career opportunity
to join the HKS team as an Administrative Assistant in our Day Hab.
SUMMARY:Responsible for the execution of HKS's Mission, goals, and
objectives through the provision of performing and coordinating
various office administrative duties within our Day Program. Must
demonstrate a sincere commitment to HKS's Mission and Values and
conduct him/herself at a high professional level at all times and
project a positive image of HKS internally and externally.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the development and
execution of function/program within his/her span of control in
accordance with HKS' Mission and Strategic Objectives. The person
is specifically responsible for:· Ensure adequate clerical coverage
for the daily functions of the entire Day Habilitation Program·
Manage, track and distribute required documents for program
participants – includes: record-keeping, billing – ISP's, Life
Plans, and Staff Action Plans. · Type memos, correspondence, etc.
as assigned· Compile and prepare statistical reports · Coordinate
various office support services including workflow of other
clerical staff · Prepare internal forms as it relates to vendors,
employees, etc.· Process purchase requisitions and maintain
supplies and inventory · Perform photocopying, filing, sorting
mail, and distribution· Handle Medicaid Billing claims· Provide
backup for receptionist · Other duties as assigned by
DirectorSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESN/AQUALIFICATIONS To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

functions.· to be a Self-Starter: can work independently with
limited supervision.· Excellent attention to detail; follows up
promptly and completely; reviews work for accuracy prior to
submitting work to superiors. · Very good to excellent
organizational skills—can organize and prioritize issues quickly ·
Good basic project management skills—have demonstrated experience
in taking a project from start to finish · Good communication
skills –both written and oral – can write clear and effective logs,
reports And memos that are presentable to management; ability to
present facts and issues accurately in a prioritized manner to
management and respond to questions from management. · Working
knowledge of MS Office Suite 2010 and related software · Maintain
sensitivity and the confidentiality of informationEDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE· High School diploma/ AA degree or some college
preferred · 2-3 years minimum experience working in general office
administration
