Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Tax Manager to join its Finance and Accounting leadership team. Position Summary In this newly created, highly visible role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating with external service providers and internal resources to effectively, accurately, and timely manage GTs global compliance and filings. Job Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740 Research, data mine, document, and apply learnings associated with legislative developments impacting GT Manage third party vendors (US and non-US) engaged to support the organizations tax activities and other ad hoc assignments Manage internal sales/use tax requirements Serve as point for all income tax examinations by external governmental entities Ensure compliance with credit agreement covenants and non-financial statement reporting requirements Onboard and educate new customers and vendors regarding tax compliance requirements and protocols, coordinate efforts with in-house counsel Lead GTs annual business insurance renewal, assessing risk exposure and adequacy of coverage for both US and non-US locations Education, Experience and Skills Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar analytical discipline; CPA designation strongly preferred Five years corporate tax experience NetSuite and Avalara experience a plus General knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and application of Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740 Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to efficiently manipulate large amounts of data Comfortable in a hybrid environment, with virtual collaboration Salary and Benefits GT offers competitive pay, vacation, sick and personal days, and a work environment that allows you to grow and prosper.
