Job Description:
\n\nA Wiss client located in Nassau County, NY is seeking a
local Bookkeeper to join their growing team.--The ideal candidate
will have general accounting, billing, payroll, and accounts
payable and receivables experience, ideally with Ajera, and
QuickBooks/QuickBooks payroll proficiency. It is a great

career development.\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n\n Core Responsibilities:
\n\n \n\n--------------Execute accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and invoicing tasks.\n\n Complete bank and credit card
reconciliations. Maintain responsibility for month-end close,
contract controls, and chart of accounts management. Perform
payroll tasks and possess payroll proficiency in deductions,
benefits, taxes, etc. Present financial information to Management
upon conducting research and analysis of accounting principles and
preparation of reports. \n\n \n \n\n \n\n Qualifications: \n\n
achelor---s Degree, 5+ years of previous engineering industry or
time and billing experience, and strong GAAP foundation and passion
for accounting and research. Previous experience with Ajera is
strongly desired, but prior experience to Deltek is acceptable, and
proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks payroll. NYS Notary is
preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, keen
organizational skills, and ability to work well in a team setting
as well as independently. \n\n -- \n\n \n\n Target Salary and
Compensation--- $55K-65K will be offered as a base salary. The
company offers medical, dental, and vision benefits and a 401K plan
in which employees can participate.\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n\n To all
